Aphorisms and quotations - opening of the painting exhibition by Roman Choinka

And such was the moment yesterday evening at our Folk High School, for all those who decided to spend it with us during the extraordinary opening of the painting exhibition of Roman Choinka "Aphorisms and Quotations". 

It is not often that the works of such an outstanding artist can be seen in Zlotow.

His paintings have been presented not only at exhibitions in Poland, but also abroad. New York, Beacon - USA, Escocudain - France, Neuenburg, Schortens, Wiesmoor - Germany are just some of the exhibitions in the entire oeuvre of Roman Choinka. 
His works radiate an unbelievable fever of colours, evoking intense, very positive emotions in anyone who has the pleasure of viewing them. There is a reason why they are reminiscent of stained-glass art. The character of these works was hugely influenced by our Master's childhood, and one church in particular, which contained the original stained-glass windows, making it impossible for our Artist, then still a young child, to concentrate on prayer. 
The mundanity of life, the greyness of our everyday life automatically disappear when confronted with such beautiful paintings, full of magnificent colours. Communing with such extraordinary art enriches us enormously, enriches our inner self and our sensitivity. It also enriches the world we live in. Many of the paintings were accompanied by aphorisms, quotes that inspire others. 
Experiencing art is a process that can continue and develop throughout our lives - which is why we warmly invite and greatly encourage you to view this unique exhibition.
